Expect the quiet joy of a cappella carols and exuberant rush of trumpets and timpani. Come help us celebrate 40 years, and fa-la-la into your holiday season with joy, love, and music!

Andrew Lippa's Unbreakable

Orpheum Theater, 409 S. 16th St., Omaha, NE 68102

Join the River City Mixed Chorus and their special guests as they perform Unbreakable, written by Tony Award-nominated American composer Andrew Lippa. This epic choral and theatrical work first premiered in 2018 during the 40th anniversary season of the San Francisco Gay Men’s Chorus. Now, RCMC, in its own 40th season, will premiere the mixed chorus version of Lippa’s musical journey that spans 12 decades of LGBTQ+ history. The 14-movement, multi-media composition brings into focus unsung heroes, tragedies and triumphs, and ultimately the resilient spirit of a community that can only be described as unbreakable.
